I saw a tutorial
HERE for a circle skirt and I was a bit intrigued. So having nothing better to do one day- and avoiding housework- I decided to try it. I did the math involved and cut a large donut out of fabric. I waited a week for Joann.com to bring my 2" elastic and then I sewed the elastic on. I WILL be making more and I WILL be dying elastic next time (when I dye my boys underwear- I CAN'T wait to show pictures of that if it ever stops raining!) I also WILL be making one for big sister. Here's pictures
I've been asked to make a skirt that has been seen on the 'Wiggles"; one that twirls. This will be perfect! I bet your little girl loves hers. Love the fabric. I've added this to my 'To Do' list, which is growing longer every day. I haven't even started the bag yet. I've made an extra 'To Do' page on my blog so I don't forget all the fabulous projects I come across. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I’d love for you to link your adorable project to Things I’ve Made Thursdays! We have a section that features kids and teens “stuff”, and your post would be perfect for this!
ReplyDeleteHope you’ll stop by on Thursday and link up!!
